Symptoms |
QuickTime 7.1 with Mac OS 10.3.9 prevents Prinergy Workshop 3.0 from starting. The Prinergy Workshop icon just bounces in the dock, and Prinergy doesn't start. |

Cause |
Unknown. It seems that recent versions of Apple's updates have created situations where the JavaApplicationStub file becomes very update/OS/hardware dependent. Go figure. |

Solution |
Upgrade to 3.0.3.1 and 3.1.0.2, where this issue should be fixed. Alternately, - Select Workshop icon, rightclick+"Show Package Contents" - Go to \Contents\MacOS - rename the "JavaApplicationStub" file to "JavaApplicationStub.original" - Copy (not Move) the version of the "JavaApplicationStub" file from /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/A/Resources/MacOS/ . Workshop should now launch. Permanent fix: |
