Symptoms |
VPS output files always use LZW compression, even when specified differently. Choosing different settings for TIFF Compression for VPS output in the Loose Page and Imposed Page output process plans does NOT make any difference to the VPS file sizes. |

VPS output is hard-wired to always use LZW compression. | |

Solution |
VPS can only output LZW compression, therefore the TIFF option should not even appear. This is fixed in 2.0. The process plan now shows LZW compression as the only TIFF Compression option when VPS output is selected. To update a Prinergy system, Request Support Online. Permanent fix: Prinergy 2.0 |
