Symptoms		Pages containing copydot images scaled or rotated via page geometry or imposition plan exhibit artifacts on output.

Cause		The Copydot JTP does not read page transformation information from the job ticket; it performs its scaling, resampling, and reformatting functions without applying the related page transformations prior to the transformations being applied to whole page. Artifacts result in the output because the image within the transformed page will be scaled along with the rest of the contents of the page, causing a resolution mismatch.

Solution		Apply transformations within the input file. For example, if you are placing copydot images in QuarkXPress either scale the image on the page or build a scaling factor into the PostScript file. The Copydot JTP will then resample the image appropriately. Permanent fix:
