Symptoms

Prinergy Publish is a special Prinergy workflow configuration that allows publishers, trade shops and agencies to control their file preparation. If customer has Publish system and doesn't have any hi-res proofer or plate setter, they might want to use Low-res font in their system.

Cause

Solution

To change following setting manually, you can install Low-res font to Prinergy.

1) Go to Start menu/ Programs/ Prinergy on Prinergy server

2) Right click on AppleTalk Font Downloader and select Properties

3) On Target, add "-l" to the end of the path as following

%ARAXIHOME%\AdobeExreme\bin\AppleTalkRIP.BAT -l

4) Close Properties and launch AppleTalk Font Donwloader

Note:

- This change should be applied ONLY Publish system. Do not apply to any other Prinergy system connected to Hi-res devices.

- You need re-create desktop printer on Macintosh, if you configure it before changing the setting.
