Symptoms |
You get a dialog titled: Unable to create Refine process for the selected source files". The rest of the dialog box lists the usual Notification/Explanation/Solution triplet: Notification: The JTP service or Pool named "Trap" referenced in the process plan 1stRef-Normz Trap does not exist.[1043105] Situation: If there is no trap JTP running, due to licencing restrictions or due to a crash, the Process Plan Editor doesn't seem to care. You can enable trapping as a processing step either in the PPEd or in the editor you get when you click the Edit button when starting a refine process for a selected input file. Only when you click "OK" to start the refining do you get any sort of indication that there is something wrong. |

Cause |
Explanation: The process plan used for this process references a JTP Service or Pool that does not exist in the system. This can be caused if an old process plan is used and the JTP service or Pool has since been removed from the system. | |
Solution |
Solution: Use the Process Plan Editor to change the Service or Pool referenced in the process plan. You may add new JTP Services or Pools using Prinergy Administrator (server only). Permanent fix: |
