Symptoms |
Quark Pantone-to-CMYK blend produces unexpected result after normalizing/mapping spot colors. How to recreate the problem: 1) Create a simple linear blend in Quark 4.1.1 with white to 20% pantone. 2) Pour fat composite PostScript. 3) Refine and map the spot color to process in Prinergy. The resulting blend in the PDF is incorrect. The blend is lighter in color when compared to a blend that was created using 0% pantone to 20% pantone. |
