The VLFDF file's internal version does not match the new License key. Either the key is invalid or a new VLFDF file is needed. |

Symptoms |
When trying to enter a new license key, a message appears indicating that the VLFDF file's internal version does not match the new license key, and the system reverts to the original key. |
|

Cause |
The key was created using the generator for another version of Prinergy (i.e. the generator for 2.1 was used to generate the key for a 2.0.7 system).

Solution |
Regenerate the key using the correct license key generator. Permanent fix: |
