Symptoms |
The customer wants to increase the maximum file size of their job export zip files so that their export files are not split up into multi-part zips. |
Cause |
The maximum file size for job export zip files is 3 GB by default. When an export exceeds 3 GB, the export is split into a multi-part zip file. If the user does not want to split the export, set the maximum size to a high number. Keep in mind that Macintosh has a file size limit of 2 GB and that you'll encounter problems copying the file. In Prinergy 2.1, the maximum file size can be set in the Export process plan. |

Solution |
1. Change the registry value HKLM\Software\Creo\ARAXI\2.0.4.BLD69\Default\RWJP\JobPackageFileSizeLimit. (The default decimal value is 3221225472, i.e. 3 GB.) 2. For Mac users, set the value to 1900000000 (1.9 GB). 3. If you do not want the export to be split into a multi-part zip file, set the value to a high number i.e. 10000000000 (10 GB). Note that the customer should have adequate space on their Temp and Jobs drives in order to handle zip files of such a large size. 4. Restart the Import/Export JTP for changes to take effect.
