Symptoms |
When the server is rebooted the video will switch to VGA mode (16 colors, 640x480). If you re-install the video driver, the video will work properly until you reboot again. |

pcAnywhere is affecting the video driver. | |

Solution |
Configure pcAnywhere to be in "compatible" mode. 1. In pcAnywhere, from the Tools menu, select Options. 2. On the Host Operation tab, under Video Mode Selection, select Compatibility. If that fails to resolve the problem, uninstall pcAnywhere 9.2 and install pcAnywhere 10. Permanent fix: |
