Symptoms |
Virtual Proofing System for PC doesn't always open all VPSes from one set when using "Send to" in Windows Explorer. |
Cause |
This is a known limitation of Windows Explorer. It uses a fixed buffer to store and retrieve files, so the problem might depend on the full-length pathname and number of files. For example, if Virtual Proofing System files stay in a very deep sub-folder and their names are very long, you can only send several files to a shortcut which resides in SendTo user folder. If the file is short and not deep in subfolders, you can open many files at the same time. |

Solution |
Workaround 1: Rename Virtual Proofing System files, or place files in a folder with a shorter pathname. Workaround 2: Use the browse button in Virtual Proofing System for PC, or use the drag and drop method to open the files. Permanent fix: |
