Error |
Device link ID unknown (sic) |
Symptoms |
Submitting a certified proof to Veris fails. In Prinergy Workshop, the Prinergy Server Diagnostic Log reports the error: Device link ID unknown (sic). Uncalibrated and calibrated proofs work OK. |
Cause |
There are two possible causes: 1. Device link profile ID is not exactly the same on Prinergy and Veris. 2. ColorMatch setting is set to Heidelberg instead of Creo. |
Solution |
Solution 1: Copy the device link from Veris to Prinergy. Solution 2: Change ColorMatch to ColorMatcherCreo. Permanent fix: |
