Symptoms |
When there are two or more separate EPM+ systems on one network, running the Create&StartPrinergy-Database script will delete the Prinergy-Database job for the other system and replace it with it's own. Replication will work fine, but only one system will replicate at once. Affects all versions of Prinergy using EPM+ with VSR. Does not apply to DoubleTake. |

Cause |
Running more than one EPM+ system on one network was not anticipated when EPM+ was originally designed. If installed according to the documentation provided, all of the servers will be included in the Prinergy replication neighbourhood. The only way to script the creation of replication jobs is to refer to them by name. Because the Prinergy-Database job from the other set of servers is in the same neighbourhood, it gets overwritten when Create&Start is run. | |

Solution |
To fix this problem, reinstall EPM+ using a different neighborhood name (Prinergy2, for example). Permanent fix: |
