Symptoms |
Using Virtual Proofing System (VPS), the front and back of the surface do not backup properly. |
Cause |
A VPS surface of an imposition should backup properly after verification that the surface is correct in the imposition software. In this case, there is an offset (either vertical or horizontal) in the process plan. Since VPS performs its backup by mirroring the back, the offset that was equally applied to both the front and back effectively introduces a backup problem where the image does not back up and it is off by twice the value of the offset in the Process Plan. |

Solution |
Remove the offset and re-output. The VPS should back up properly. Permanent fix: |
