Symptoms |
Customer wants to get "traditional" Allegro angles of CMYK at 15-75-0-45 degrees. |
Cause |
The angle definitions provided in the PPED UI are all specified in the clock coordinate space, where 0 degrees is at 12 o'clock and positive angles are clockwise. Harlequin RIPs run with 0 degrees at 3 o'clock and positive angles counterclockwise. The clock coordinate system is common in film workflows and in Delta IS shops. | |

Solution |
Get output patch 31 or later. Select screen system set Creosettes CMYK 75-15-90-45. Note that the Creosettes family of screen systems has the EllipticalP dot shape running with its long axis along the angle direction, as in the Allegro workflow. Permanent fix: |
