Solution |
Assuming the images are sitting on the server in a directory structure of: d:\Images\HiRes\AdamOnline\ADAM JOBS\12200_03Final\033..Scans\GrayscaleLogo d:\Images\HiRes\AdamOnline\ADAM JOBS\12200_03Final\033..Scans\logo.tif d:\Images\HiRes\AdamOnline\ADAM JOBS\12200_03Final\033..Scans\car.tif d:\Images\HiRes\AdamOnline\ADAM JOBS\12200_03Final\033..Scans\bus And you had the following shares (1) NT share of "\\SomeServer\SomeShare" which was shared at the "d:\Images\HiRes" (2) Mac share of "ADAM1" mapping to the NT drive "d:\Images\HiRes" Now if you mount the "ADAM1" mount on your Mac and create a PostScript file that has an OPI search path to "ADAM1:AdamOnline:ADAM JOBS:12200_03Final:033..Scans:GrayscaleLogo". If you set your Prinergy Image search path to be "\\SomeServer\SomeShare", then Prinergy will resolve this GrayscaleLogo image and perform the OPI. It would seem to support an hierarchial OPI (as compared to a flat) structure. It is important to note that this is NOT a recursive scheme. The key is that the Mac share and the NT share must be at the same share point. Permanent fix: |
