Solution |
The solution depends on whether the question is regarding Input of PDF/X or Output of PDF/X. INPUT of PDF/X Prinergy does support the PDF/X file format. PDF/X is a subset of the PDF specification, so it should work as input into Prinergy. However, PDF/X-1:1999 will be subject to the same issues and limitations as PDF V1.2 in Prinergy. PDF/X-1:2001 is PDF V1.3, and should work well with Prinergy. OUTPUT of PDF/X Prinergy will be able to output PDF/X-1:2001 in a future patch release. Until then, acceptable methods of outputting PDF/X-1:2001 from Prinergy's PDF pages are: 1. Use Creo's Synapse Prepare 1.1 to generate PDF/X-1:2001 files. 2. Use Apago's PDF/X Checkup. 3. Use Callas software's PDFinspektor2. 4. Use Enfocus PitStop and InstantPDF. Permanent fix: |
