Symptoms |
Some customers are still getting separated PostScript or PDF. Unfortunately, Prinergy is unable to trap or colormatch separated data. |

Solution |
CreoScitex has a product called "PDF SepsToComp". "PDFSepsToComp" is an Adobe Acrobat plugin that can be used to combine separated PDF into composite PDF. More information is available at: "http://www.creoscitex.com/products/workflow/Intense/products/seps2comp/index.asp". So the workaround is to: (1) Refine (no trap or colourmatch) the separated PS or PDF file, (2) Use the PDF SepsToComp plugin (in Adobe Acrobat) to recombine the separated PDF to composite PDF (3) Re-refine the file with trapping and colourmatching Permanent fix: |
