Symptoms |
Adobe apparently has a program called "CloneDetect" that they use to determine which PostScript RIPs are official Adobe RIPs. If you execute this program (it is actually a PS file) on the Prinergy Normalizer, the program will report that the Prinergy Normalizer is NOT a valid PostScript L3 RIP. The test fails because the "CloneDetect" program checks the copyright notice (which is at least one part of the test) and the copyright notice has a leading space in it that the "CloneDetect" program is not expecting. |

Cause |
There is a bug in the "CloneDetect" program where it does not ignore the leading space. Adobe has confirmed this is the case. | |

Solution |
No workaround. The Prinergy system contains an official PostScript L3 RIP! Permanent fix: |
