Symptoms |
Annotations added in Acrobat appear on printed output. |
Cause |
The Prinergy Refiner will detect annotations on each page of a PDF document and will modify the properties of each annotation so that it will not appear on printed output. If annotations are added in Acrobat but the page is not re-refined, the Prinergy Refiner does not have an opportunity to correct the properties of the annotations and they may appear on printed output. Annotations can be added to PDF pages for a variety of reasons. For example, an annotation may document special instructions or identify problems with elements of the page. Normally, these annotations are intended for viewing only and are not intended to appear on printed output. |

Solution |
If annotations are added to a page in Acrobat, make sure that the page is refined (or re-refined) before attempting to create printed output. Permanent fix: |
