Symptoms |
Populated imposition/layout is imported into Prinergy and after completion of the import, the pages/artworks are NOT assigned to the correct postions (actually there is no assignment). |
Cause |
1) The Prinergy system does not have the features licensed (an APA or Automatic Page Assignment license is required), 2) The Import/Export JTP has not enabled the Populated Job Ticket import feature (go to Prinergy Administrator & check the license options for the JTP in question), 3) (Macintosh only) The SFMHosts file has not been correctly configured. The file is found in "%ARAXIHOME%\CreoAraxi\etc" and can be edited using a simple text editor (Notepad, Wordpad). You need to setup the mapping of the Mac zone to the W2K server (actual syntax is "zone:sfmservername"="ntservername"). For example, if you have an W2K server named "CWA420" in the "Production" zone, the entry in the file would be "Production:CWA420"="CWA420". |

Solution |
1) Get a license for this feature 2) Enabled the license for this feature 3) Configure the SFMHosts file Permanent fix: |
