Symptoms |
There may be times when you want more than a basic RGB-to-CMYK conversion. For example, you may want to do what Photoshop does. |

Solution |
To do an RGB-to-CMYK conversion similar to what Photoshop does, you must specify the proper ICC profiles in the colorconvert tab of the Prinergy Refine process plan. In the process plan, check: Override Embedded Profiles, From RGB Images, and From CMYK Graphics. For the ICC profile, specify "AdobeRGB1998.icc" in \CreoAraxi\data\ICC-Profiles\Monitor\. For the Final Output Process Profile, use "USWebCoatedSWOP.icc" or whatever target profile you wish to specify that characterizes your printing press. Permanent fix: |
