To export a rule, you need to open a dos prompt on the server, navigate to a file called "ruleutility.exe". Run this program at the dos prompt and then type in the command "export <rule_group/rule_name>" where rule_group is the name of the group (if any) where you put the rule in Rule Set Manager and rule_name is the name of the rule. It should complete without any notifications. It will produce an XML file which should be stored in ...<server_name>\AraxiHome\Automation\bin. Importing a rule set uses the same utility ("import <XMLFile>"). Typing "?" at the prompt gives a help screen. Permanent fix: |
