Product |
Kodak® Prinergy® Connect, versions earlier than 4.1.2 |
Symptoms |
When accessing the history log files through RBA (for example, sending them in an RBA-generated e-mail), the strings are all in English even though the server language is not English. |
Cause |
On the server where RBA runs, the hlog.properties file is English only, because Kodak support staff need to see the log files in English. | |
Solution |
Use a script to generate the hlog.properties file in the desired language, and then convert the file to UTF-8 encoding. Only Product Development can do this. When the conversion is finished, replace the existing file with the new one. Note: If you give the properties file a different name from the English version, you must modify the automationapp.exe.config file to point to the new properties file and then restart the AutomationApp.exe process. Note: This problem is fixed in Prinergy 4.1.2.0. |
