Solution |
In tracking performance problems with making plates, it is not advised to use the times reported in Workshop, as they can be misleading. For example, they include the time that the imaged plate sits on the Trendsetter waiting to be unloaded. Therefore, it's best to use the interpretation and render times available in Print Console: 1. In Print Console, go into the Queues tab. 2. Tip down the processed pane. You'll see a list of jobs with a time column. Each of the Print Console "jobs" (1 or more separations sent from Prinergy) will be in a separate group. The time on job line is the total time to make all plates, including plate loading and unloading times - so not very useful. 3. Tip down the group name - you'll see GDAPI -- that's the interpretation time for the 1 or more separations sent together. Then, under each color, you will see a time - that's the render time for each separation. Permanent fix: |
