Symptoms |
After applying all (MicroSoft) critical security updates or SP4, you cannot install Prinergy Workshop on your PC, or uninstall it. The Prinergy Workshop installer/uninstaller fails and reports an error message or displays an alert. |

Cause |
The cause appears to be that MicroSoft stopped updating Java in some recent OS releases and, in some cases, deletes the Java run-time when MicroSoft security patches or SP4 are installed. | |
