Symptoms |
When text marks get replaced by text that's longer than the variable name, the replaced marks can overwrite other marks. There's no kind of automatic spacing. |
Cause |
This is the same behaviour for imposition text marks made in Preps. When using Preps to generate PostScript the variable marks are replaced by Preps so you do not have this problem. When using Preps to generate the imposition plans, the marks are in the separate file and the variables do not get replaced. The marks JTP replaces the variables and does not do any automatic spacing. | |

Solution |
Ensure that there is enough space between the variable marks to accommodate the longest string for that mark. In Preps, for imposition marks, you will need to add spaces if neccessary. Permanent fix: |
