Symptoms |
Re-refining pages overwrites geometry values (e.g. trim, offset) set using Workshop. |
Cause |
Geometry values are stored in the database and NOT in the PDF page. | |

Solution |
If you use Workshop to set geometry for a page, then don't set the values until after you have finished re-refining. This is the only way to ensure that the geometry values you enter don't get overwritten by the re-refine process. There are 2 ways to set geometry for a PDF page: 1. Open PDF page using Acrobat and use geometry plug-ins to set trim and offset. Then re-refine the page. The values of offset and trim set with the plug-ins will be picked up and stored in the database. 2. Use the set geometry dialog in Workshop to enter the values directly.
