Product |
Kodak® Prinergy® 3.1 | |
Symptoms |
In QuarkXPress software version 7 PostScript® output, the trimbox is incorrectly determined after distilling in Adobe® Acrobat® 7 or refining in Prinergy. Page sizes and/or offsets do not display as expected after refining. |
Cause |
QuarkXPress software version 7 produces different PostScript code for its trim boxes. Prinergy refiner overrides and extracts information from the QuarkXPress procset using the CreoAutoGeometry file. This file will be updated in Prinergy 4.0 so that Prinergy can correctly extract trimbox information. | |

Solution |
The workaround is to set the geometry in the Prinergy Workshop user interface using the Prinergy Geometry Editor. This problem is fixed in Prinergy 4.0. |
