Symptoms |
After Prinergy 2.0.4 patch 19 is installed, you should be able to skip the backup of the system disk of a secondary server or renderstation, but for some reason you aren't being allowed to skip it. |

Cause |
Prinergy 2.0.4 patch 19 introduces the ability to skip the backup of the system disk of some secondary servers and renderstations. This is done by taking the computer name of the server to be skipped out of the ....Araxi2.0.4bld69\System\Backup\SecondaryNodeList registry key. However, when the registry key Backup\SecondaryNodeList is empty, the backup scripts recreate the key listing all the secondary servers and renderstations in it. |

Solution |
Leave a space in the string field in the Backup\SecondaryNodeList registry key if the only node to be backed up is the primary. Note that the SystemState backup file of the skipped server is still backed up to tape. Permanent fix: Prinergy 2.0 |
