Error |
ALERT! The status of the PrinergyDB replication job is: Not connected. . Please see the DT Management Console on SPC_PRINERGY-P for further details. Once fixed, open Replication Monitor window in SPC_PRINERGY-P and hit any key to restart monitoring. |
Symptoms |
Pop-up alerts appear on the desktops of the servers participating in the replication. But the DoubleTake Management Console does not show any problem with the replication job. |
Cause |
Replication monitor uses a doubletake command line query to check the status of the replication transmission. If the computer name that is passed on to the doubletake command has a trailing space, the transmission state is sometimes reported as "Not connected". | |
Solution |
1. Remove the trailing space from the following lines in the file %ProgramFiles%\DoubleTake\Creo\MonitorDT.cmd. This file can be found in the server where the alerts are originating from (either the primary or the main tertiary server) set FailoverServer=<FailoverServerName> set reptype=<PrinergyDB or PrinergyJobs> 2. On the Primary and the main tertiary server, replace %ProgramFiles%\DoubleTake\Creo\MonitorSetup.cmd with the one in \\ccafs6\araxidata\PR Data\PSamaniego\PSAO-173. This problem is fixed in the RevG of the HotStandby with DT installer (651-00325A-G). Permanent fix: |
