Symptoms |
The DIAG log shows that LibDiag.exe is asserting with something like: E 06Apr99 17:02:33.109 [109.393] JERRY AraxiLab LIBDIAG.main LIBI_Registry.cpp(533): LIBI_Registry::deleteValue: assertion failed: (isOpened()) in LIBI_Registry::deleteValue at line 533 in file LIBI_Registry.cpp However, no real problem seems to be occuring despite the failed assertion. |
Cause |
The assertion to verify a value in the registry is unsuccessful because the registry entry does not exist. The error message is misleading. | |
Solution |
It's actually not a problem if this specific assertion fails in LibDiag, so if no other symptoms exist, then ignore it. (This DIAG message from LibDiag.exe is OK, but if this message is logged from another process, for example EmulatedRSMService.exe, then it is a serious problem that should be reported to Product Development.) Permanent fix: Prinergy 2.0 |
