Symptoms |
Gradient fill that is set to overprint in Illustrator 10 knocks out the colors below it when saved as EPS and refined to a PDF in Prinergy. |
Cause |
Gradient is not being converted to a smooth shading by the Refiner, likely due to a change in the way Adobe was describing its gradient fills. | |
Solution |
In Illustrator 10, save the file as version 8 compatible and then re-save the file using Illustrator 8, then refine the resulting EPS. Should have been fixed in 2.1.0.18 Permanent fix: |
