Error |
The error message depends on the platform but is similar to "Creo PDF Trapper could not load because there is not enough memory". |
Symptoms |
Creo PDF Trapper does not appear in the Adobe Acrobat toolbar. |
Cause |
The Creo Trapper's preference file has been corrupted or contains invalid settings. This can occur if a newer version of Prinergy was installed and then rolled back. Sometimes new versions write information into the Preferences that older versions cannot read. Prinergy's rollback procedure does not remove the Preference file on the client machines. | |
Solution |
Delete the Preference file and restart Acrobat. The Preference file is in a different location, depending on which platform you are using. It can also be in more than one place if users have their own log-ins. The easiest way to find the Preferences is to do a search for Trapper Pref on Macintosh or Trapper.pref on Windows. Drag all found files into the trash. Permanent fix: |
