Error |
Failed to load the required CMap <file name> for CID font <font name>: Failed to locate CMAP <file name> on resource search path: Font Search Path |
Symptoms |
File fails to analyze in the Creo PDF Trap editor plug-in |
Cause |
The required CMap file is missing or the permissions have been set so that the Mac User does not have rights to see inside the CMap folder | |
Solution |
Change the permissions on the CMap folder to allow Read/Write access. The easiest way to find the CMap folder is to do a search for "CMap" or whatever the filename is in the error message. If the required file is not present anywhere on the Mac, the solution will be to re-install Acrobat or copy the file from another Mac that is not having the same problem. Permanent fix: |
