Tiling is not in the Adobe job ticket specification. Preps cannot output a tiled job ticket (imposition plan). Tiling must be handled in Prinergy by specifying the appropriate amount offset for each tile in the process plan. One process plan for each tile. This workaround describes how to manage tiling in Prinergy 1.1: For example you want to proof a 32"x44" plate on a proofing device that can only output 32"x30". In our example, only 2 tiles are needed and it will have enough overlap that we can match the two tiles. Create an imposed proof imposition plan: - Set the media size to cut sheet and enter the Width and Height values (32"x30" in our example). - In the Placement section, ensure "center along width" and "center along height" is unchecked. For the left process plan (tile), the image will automatically be clipped on the right because of the media size. - For the right process plan (tile), enter an appropriate amount of offset in the "shift along width" box. This should not be greater that the width of media size because you want some overlap (-29 in our example). Using the same technique, you can also tile vertically to create a 4-tile imposition.
