Error |

Symptoms |
An error dialog from Workshop reports: "the message for 1112017 could not be found." The number may vary. |
Cause |
Workshop client is not at the same patch level as the Primary server. The error number cannot be translated to a message. There are two methods for checking the Workshop version: 1) Launch Workshop and select the About menu. 2) Run the Jarinfo utility. Mac and PC versions are available. This requires Internet Explorer's Jview.exe - Unzip Jarinfo-x86.zip. - From the command line type jarinfo <path to workshop.jar>. |

Solution |
Update Workshop with the lated patch installed on the server. For Mac platforms: The updated files must be manually installed into the correct locations on the client. The installer puts the files into the "%ARAXIHOME%\CreoAraxi\data\patches\CopyToClient\PatchXX" directory. The %AraxiHome%\CreoAraxi\data folder should be accessible via the Mac share AraxiData. You may want to back up the current version before applying this patch. One file must be manually moved to the following location on each Mac client: Workshop.jar to "...Applications:Prinergy Workshop:java" On Win32 clients: C:\Program Files\Workshop\java\Workshop.jar (This is the default location for the Windows client installer - it may be different if the path was changed during installation. To be sure, you can check the Prinergy Workshop shortcut on the desktop or Start menu.) Permanent fix: |
