Symptoms

Selecting a group of pages for loose page output, some with spot colors and some without, results in extra separations in the process-only files.

Cause

Solution

If the job is a process-only:

1. Correct the problem upstream of Prinergy in the desktop application.

2. Convert to process during refining. Refine a second time and remap spot to process.

3. Convert to process during output.

If the job has spot colors:

1. Select jobs with the same colors together when outputting.

2. Ignore and delete the extra separations.
