Symptoms		Cannot create more than one optimizer; the others disappear when Prinergy is restarted. The first time you create other optimizers, they run without a problem. But when you restart Prinergy, the other optimizers fail to start and disappear from Prinergy Administrator. The following error is reported in the diagnostic log: PDeviceAndServiceD.main DASS_Server.cpp(138): The Device and Service Server is starting. E 04Jan01 16:36:28.890-PST [2588.2184] GOAT Araxi PDeviceAndServiceD.main DASS_ServiceFactory.cpp(515): Error creating stored service SimonOptimize : code = 1063009; localized message = '( code = 1063009; param[0] = 'Optimize' )'

Cause		A setting in the registry was migrated from Prinergy 1.1 restricting the number of optimizers to 1. This setting is not desirable in Prinergy 2.0 and should be removed.

Solution		Delete the following key: HKLM\Software\Creo\Araxi\2.0.4BLD69\Default\DASS\JTPModels\Optimize\MaxInstances You do not need to re-add the optimizer but Prinergy must be restarted for changes to take effect. Permanent fix:
