Error |
Symptoms |
1) File fails to RIP because it was not able to read Harmony curves. 2) Harmony curve is not available in PPED. 3) Diag reports: suprarip SCRN_Diag.cpp(140): Unable to open Harmony database [e:\Temp\TrendsetterOnCW152v2_TempDirRIP\Calcurve.hmy] No calibration will be active. Reason: Invalid license (15). 4) Prinergy Administrator on secondary servers reports errors binding to DASS, and no JTPs are listed. |
Cause |
When the modem is connected to the primary server and someone is dialed in, it causes an intermittent CORBA bind error because the system is multi-homed (2 IP addresses). In Windows 2000, the address for the RAS connection does not get released until you reboot. | |
Solution |
1) Rebooting the primary server will release the IP address assigned for RAS. 2) Move the modem to a secondary server. Permanent fix: Prinergy 2.0 |
