Symptoms |
If you export a job with two impositions linked to a single page set, when importing the job, the Import will create a second identical page set, with each page set linked to an imposition. |
Cause |
Although there is a second page set, it should not affect output. This is only a problem if the run list needs to be modified, in which case both page sets will need to be modified. There are two possible causes: 1. If the imposition name (Job Ticket) is not the same, the Import will create a page set based on the JT name. 2. If the imposition plan names are the same and the import process plan is set to "Create alternate page set and imposition", the Import will automatically create a second page set. |
Solution |
1. Change the setting in the import process plan to "Keep existing page set and create new imposition". 2. Name the JT the same when importing. Permanent fix: |
