Symptoms |
Unable to log in to the Primary server from a Macintosh Prinergy Workshop client after updating to Prinergy 2.1.0.6 |
Cause |
The Macintosh client was not able to resolve the host name passed back by Prinergy. A Prinergy configuration script was not able to modify a registry value due to an unusual user account configuration. | |
Solution |
A temporary solution is to create a Macintosh hosts file with SimpleText. Add the Prinergy Primary and load the host file in the TCP/IP settings. Host file format:<ServerName> CNAME <ServerName>.<suffix> For a permanent solution, contact the Creo Response Center to correct the registry setting. Please reference KB article number: SCHN-0000290.
