Symptoms |
Staccato screens are used where AM screens are expected. The proof looks darker than it should. The problem only occurs when the color recipe is entered in the color database. |

Cause |
The problem occurs when the color mix is entered in the color database, otherwise it is not a problem. | |

Solution |
The workaround is to remove the color recipe from the Prinergy color database. If the spot color is in the Pantone Color Database, you cannot delete the recipe from the database. In that case, select to output separately in the Process plan, but map the color to process in the "Apply Color Changes" during output. When printing impositions, also select to output seperatly in the process plan, but map the color to process in the "Color Seperations" dialog box (under "edit" in the menu). Permanent fix: Prinergy 2.0 |
