Symptoms |
Handling Brisque CT/LW sets (.p folders) doesn't work with Prinergy hot folders from a Mac. |
Cause |
Brisque CT/LW sets consist of a ".p" folder with a hidden ".assg" file and a CT and LW file. Prinergy's CEPS JTP needs to process the .assg file. Prinergy hot folders have difficulty dealing with files inside of folders. |

Solution |
1. Use a PC (with "view hidden files" enabled) to copy the .assg, LW, and CT to a Prinergy hot folder. In other words, take them out of the .p folder structure. 2. Use a Mac tool to change the hidden .assg files to be visible on the Mac. Then copy the .assg, LW, and CT to a Prinergy hot folder. 3. Since Prinergy supports processing of the .job-level .assg file, simply "Add Input" to the .job-level .assg file. Prinergy will then add the supporting .p-level .assg files. In other words, by adding a single .assg, you could have the entire .job converted to PDF. Permanent fix: |
