Error |
Client Auto Updater (CAU) display shows a barber pole rather than a progress bar when copying "TrapEdit DEU" file from the server to the Mac client in Prinergy 2.0.7.14 and later. |
Symptoms |
The display of the barber pole rather than the progress bar during the copy of the "TrapEdit DEU" file causes the operator to question whether or not the copying of this file is happening correctly, even though it is. |
Cause |
The current version of the CAU must be changed to add the size of the resource fork to the size of the data fork in order to display the progress bar correctly. Currently, because the CAU only knows about the size of the data fork for the "TrapEdit DEU" file, which is 0, the CAU has problems displaying the progress bar. | |

Solution |
No real workaround is required -- only an understanding that the barber pole behaviour is expected until the bug is fixed but that the file is still being copied correctly. Permanent fix: |
