Web Growth profiles are unavailable when outputting loose 1-up artwork.

Due to the high cost of flexo media it is very common for customers to output a distorted/compensated 1-up and make multiple plates, which are then mounted by hand around and across the cylinder.

Cause

Solution

Create blank rectangular placeholders in SignaPack. The user can then assign the 1-up file to the single 1-up layout and apply Web Growth profiles when outputting as a Step Layout.

To create a blank placeholder, select "Insert Blank" from the "Documents" menu. Create a rectangular placeholder and save layout back to Prinergy Powerpack.

Assign the 1-up file to the 1-up layout in Workshop and output using the Layout Proof process plans.
