When working with Signapak in interactive mode through workshop, the only way to save the layout is to write out a job ticket each time you want to make a save. Once the job ticket is written out, it get's imported into workshop. to continue to edit the layout, we need to relaunch signapak in interactive mode again by double clicking on the layout. This is time quite time consuming and can be frustrating when creating a complicated layout. |

Solution |
A workaround would be to save a plate template when working in signa. This method would be just for precaution. Incase signa locks up or there is a power failure, saving a plate template would be a good idea. Go under "file > save plate template" this would allow the user to still be in signa. Once the layout is ready and finished, then write out the final job ticket into workshop. The plate template would only be needed if infact signa crashed or there was a power failure and the layout cannot be retrieved. If this was the case, launch signa interactively from workshop and load the plate template "file > load plate template" this will bring up the layout. You would need to re-parse the pdf thumbnails.
