Symptoms

Normalizer intermittently crashes with access violation errors and disconnects from Extreme. The same PostScript file will normalize without errors if it is refined again.

Cause

Solution

Disable Bicubic Downsampling by unchecking the downsample checkbox (for color images and greyscale images) in the Normalize settings of the process plan.
