Symptoms |
Prinergy fails to create thumbnails. If you look in the DIAG log, you will see that it is trying to put the thumbnail in \\<MachineName>\AraxiVolume_<MachineName>_<DriveLetter>\Jobs\Jobs\<JobName>\System\SubPageThumbnails instead of \\<MachineName>\AraxiVolume_<MachineName>_<DriveLetter>\Jobs\<JobName>\System\SubPageThumbnails (note there is one less Jobs folder). No amount of system restarts or retries helps. |

Cause |
The thumbnails directory can't be located. The AraxiVolume_<MachineName>_<DriveLetter> share is shared at the Jobs folder level and not the root level. Prinergy expects the AraxiVolume shares to be one level lower than the jobs folder. | |

Solution |
Resharing the AraxiVolume should correct the problem. For example, the share should be at G:\ instead of G:\Jobs. Permanent fix: |
