Error |

Symptoms |
Legato clients fail to be backed up during the system backups. Error message: savegrp: No client resource for 'ycs123-45.creo.com' |
Cause |
Legato may try to use the DNS name of the client. If a DNS name is defined in the TCP/IP's DNS configuration in Control Panel | Networks, then Legato may try to access the clients using the fully qualified domain name, for example, YCS123-45.creo.com. | |
Solution |
Add the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the Legato client to the client's ALIASES list. In Networker Administrator, click on Manage Clients and double-click each client to edit its configuration. In the Preferences tab, add the FQDN of the client to the Aliases list. e.g. Aliases: YCS123-45 YCS123-45.creo.com <--- add this entry Permanent fix: |
