Cause |
These are messages from the Navisphere Event Monitor. The Navisphere Event Monitor is used to send messages to the NT Event Log from the Clariion RAID. The monitor is dependent upon the SCSI port number assigned to the SCSI card. If an additional SCSI card is installed, the Event Monitor will generate error messages because it may be monitoring the wrong SCSI card unless the monitor is reconfigured to monitor the new port. For this reason, we do not install the Navisphere Event Monitor application. |

Solution |
Remove the Navisphere Event Monitor from the system. If you wish to check the RAID logs with a Navisphere utility, use Navisphere Supervisor. To remove the Navisphere Event Monitor do the following: 1) Stop the Navisphere Event Monitor service from Control Panel | Services. 2) Remove the Navisphere Event Monitor software from Control Panel | Add/Remove Software. 3) In Regedt32, go to HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services and remove the NavisphereEventMonitor registry key. 4) Reboot the server.
